MYSTIC SEASHORE, CONNECTICUT

ORDER NO. 018

Mystic has a long history of shipbuilding and whaling; it has always been linked to the sea. Early settlers were farmers in the growing season and shipbuilders in the winter. In Olde Mistic Village you will enjoy 18th century-like colonial shopping. Mystic Seaport, a working village, is the largest maritime museum in the nation, covering 17 acres along the river. Mystic Marinelife Aquarium has thousands of specimens to enjoy plus a Maritime Theatre. Just east of Mystic is Stonington, a quiet fishing village. Stonington offers a seafaring atmosphere and is home port to the last significant fishing fleet in Connecticut. It is also a popular harbor for pleasure boats. You will enjoy strolling the narrow streets and seeing the variety of architectural styles in the 18th and 19th century homes. South of Mystic, note Fisher’s Island, which is actually part of the State of New York! This entire design can be stitched using only 4 colors!

STITCHING INFORMATION: 93 stitches wide x 112 high.
Our model was stitched on a 13” x 14” piece of white 14 count Aida fabric. This design can be adjusted to any type of fabric. A large color photo, stitching instructions, computer generated chart and floss numbers for your choice of DMC, Anchor & J&B Coats are included.
